Leyla Afacan Kodaman

Leyla Afacan Kodaman was born in Trabzon. She graduated from Karadeniz Technical University Fatih Faculty of Education, Department of Painting and Art Education in 1995. She completed her master's degree in 1999 and was appointed as a lecturer in the same department. The artist, who was positioned as a lecturer at Isparta Süleyman Demirel University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting in 2004, completed her doctorate at Gazi University, Institute of Educational Sciences, Painting and Business Education programme in 2014. 

In 2022, Leyla Afacan Kodaman, who received the title of associate professor, continues her academic and artistic studies at Süleyman Demirel University. The artist has opened 10 solo exhibitions and participated in many national and international group and competitive exhibitions. The artist has many private collection paintings in Turkey and abroad.
